Series Six Boxed Set Promotional Broadcasts

Today saw a number of promotional broadcasts undertaken by the Doctor Who team for the release of the Doctor Who Complete Series Six Boxed Set.

The centrepiece of the day took place at the Westfield Centre in Stratford City, where Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill signed copies of the set at HMV, and was followed later in the afternoon with a live Q&A session with Jo Whiley:

Earlier in the day Matt Smith appeared on BBC Breakfast to chat about his appearance on Children in Need and the forthcoming next series of Doctor Who. This is available to watch in the United Kingdom via the BBC News channel (14:54, to 28th Nov).
 

Later both he and Karen Gillan popped into Fearne Cotton's studio on BBC Radio One to continue promotion, which was also broadcast via the station webcam:

The duo also pre-recorded an interview with Steve Wright before heading off to Westfield; this was broadcast on his afternoon show just after 3:40pm.

Sarah Jane Adventures Series Five arrives in HD

This week sees the premiere of the last series of The Sarah Jane Adventures in high definition, with the show to be broadcast over the next three weeks on BBC1/BBC1HD from 4:30pm Thursdays and Fridays.

Elisabeth Sladen's autobiography is released this week (7th November), and her daughter Sadie Miller appeared as a guest on the show to share her memories of her mother.

Sam and Mark's Big Friday Wind Up, CBBC, Friday 4th November, 6:00pm
Daniel Anthony appeared a guest on the show to talk about The Sarah Jane Adventures; the show later also features a prank where three children believe they get an exclusive glimpse of the Twelfth Doctor and aliens.
This programme is available to watch in the UK via BBC iPlayer (13:00, 27:00) until 16th December.

Hacker Time, CBBC, Friday 5th October, 4:30pm
"Hacker shares his unique take on aliens from galaxies far away and tricks Danny Anthony and Anjli Mohindra from the Sarah Jane Adventures in to the studio." Includes outtakes from both the show and Doctor Who.
